Welcome To Zion Lutheran Church

The Mission of Zion Lutheran Church is to reach out to the community as we embrace our fellow members, building on the strength of our heritage in the true Word of God.  To this end, Zion's members see themselves as loving Christians called by God to serve Him according to His purpose.

  • Summer soon approaches!  VBS will be here June 10-14.  Consider volunteering; there is a sign-up board located in the narthex.  Register online for VBS here,  call 402-493-1744, or sign up on the board in the narthex.
  • Summer Sunday School continues through the summer.  You can choose what week and how many weeks you desire to teach.  Sign up in the basement of the church.
  • Help Needed! - Several people/families are needed to help hang VBS flyers on doors in nearby neighborhoods.  You can do this on your own schedule.  You must be able to climb stairs.  This is a great activity for families with children!  Please sign up in the narthex.
  • A new Adult Bible Study begins on May 13 called "Two Kingdoms" in the LakeView Room.  There are two Bible Study offerings between services.  Read more about them here.
  • Summer Servant Event is for youths 6-12 grades.  Learn more about it here.

Talent Show 2012

Zion's Got Talent! 2012

The youth of Zion showed their talents again with the second annual Youth Talent Show and Pasta Feed Fundraiser. The youth's talents included, juggling, solos on the piano, cello, violin, and xylophone. We were even treated to a puppet show of the Bethlehemian Rhapsody. The food was delicious and entertainment was outstanding!

O Christmas Tree, Reveal to Us the Savior!

Saturday December, 17th 2011, the congregation's children led us in a Christmas Worship Service in song and joyous celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
