Welcome To Lutheran Church

Zion Lutheran Church Under Construction for 125 YearsThe Mission of Zion Lutheran Church is to reach out to the community as we embrace our fellow members, building on the strength of our heritage in the true Word of God.  To this end, Zion's members see themselves as loving Christians called by God to serve Him according to His purpose.

Be sure to take the picture tour of our church and see the activities of our Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Ziggy (Zion's Inspired Group of God's Youth).

Zion Lutheran Church celebrated it's 125 year anniversary with Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 24th. There was delicious brats, root beer, pretzels, and assorted German Desserts. There was fun for the entire family including pony rides, moonwalk bounce, kids crafts, kid parade, carnival games, face painting, tug of war, dunking booth, horse shoes, and ladder balll.

Zion was visited by the German folk dancing group, Heimat Tanzer (homeland dancers) from the German American Society. There were several dance demonstrations through out the day and the kids were treated to German dance lessons.

Attendance by families in the surrounding community was high and the weather was picture perfect.
