Sledding at Mahoney changed due to lack of snow

The 6th-12th grade youth are scheduled to go sledding at Mahoney State Park this Sunday 01/08/2012. The weather people have forecasted that there is not a chance of snow in next seven days and Mahoney State Park officials said that it has not been cold enough for them to generate "fake" snow. So.......we will change it up.

    And attempting to find out if you can "sled" on a sheet of plastic with cardboard (bring gear to be outside)

What is a White Elephant Gift?
    A white elephant (AKA dirty santa, yankee swap) gift is something that you have laying around (or cheap find at goodwill), that you don't want anymore, that would be funny, tacky, crazy to give to someone else - but not insulting or inappropriate. Bring your gift wrapped.
